Two cannabis companies are asking a Los Angeles County court to send to arbitration a lawsuit filed by three former employees who claim they were exposed to toxic chemicals while on the job, leaning on agreements they signed when hired.
Kush Alley Inc. and MVN Productions LLC said in a Tuesday motion to compel that the former workers all agreed that disputes and controversies would be handled through confidential and binding arbitration.
"There is no doubt that plaintiffs agreed to arbitrate any disputes they may have with defendants," the companies said. "Accordingly, defendants respectfully request that this court enforce the arbitration agreement."
