The landlord, ALS Main and Transit LLC, an affiliate of the Rochester-based Flaum Management, filed a lawsuit seeking approximately $70,000 in unpaid rent. The eviction took place on August 5, as confirmed by a notice posted by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

MedMen, originally founded in 2010, moved to the Williamsville location at Main and Transit in 2019 after previously operating on South Union Road. Despite going public in 2018, the company has struggled financially, leading to its bankruptcy filing earlier this year.
